Acceptance of 13,495 students in the Applied Science Colleges and Institutes for the 2026–2027 academic year

Abdullah Al-Rakan: The Director General of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, has approved the admission results for the colleges and institutes of the Authority and its specialized training courses for the first and second academic semesters of the 2026–2027 academic and training year, for holders of the secondary school certificate.

Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Mohammed Al-Kandari, clarified that admissions were conducted in accordance with the approved admission plan and governing regulations, based on minimum admission percentages, applicants’ preference rankings, and seat availability. He noted that the total number of admitted students reached 13,495 out of 14,638 applicants, with 8,932 admitted for the first semester and 4,563 for the second semester.

Dr. Al-Kandari pointed out that admission to the College of Nursing and certain majors in the College of Health Sciences required passing the aptitude test and a personal interview, as these are mandatory requirements for these specialties.

Regarding the College of Basic Education, he explained that admitted students will undergo a personal interview, with the college responsible for determining and announcing the interview schedules. He urged students to follow the official channels of the Authority and the college to stay informed about relevant schedules and instructions.

Dr. Al-Kandari called on all admitted students to confirm their admission by no later than Saturday, September 5, 2026, through the Authority’s website or the “Sahl” application. He emphasized that failure to confirm admission within the specified deadline will result in automatic cancellation of admission.

He also clarified that fixed academic schedules for new students will be prepared and distributed according to majors, colleges, and institutes, contributing to students’ continuity in their studies from the beginning of the semester. He encouraged all admitted students to follow announcements and instructions via the official channels of the Authority, colleges, and institutes to stay updated on any developments related to advising procedures, personal interviews, academic schedules, and the start of classes.

Regarding the Fire Engineering Technology major, Dr. Al-Kandari explained that the final admission results for this specialty will be announced later in coordination with the General Fire Force. He urged students who were contacted to temporarily confirm their admission to an alternative major, noting that those ultimately admitted to Fire Engineering Technology will be allowed to transfer to that specialty. As for those not admitted to the specialty, they will have the option to continue in the alternative major or cancel their admission.
