Arab-Chinese Dialogue Forum Emphasizes the Importance of Leveraging Artificial Intelligence to Overcome Linguistic and Cultural Barriers

The Arab-Chinese Dialogue Forum emphasized the importance of leveraging artificial intelligence technologies to enhance communication and understanding between Arab and Chinese youth, overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers, with the aim of broadening the horizons of cooperation and knowledge exchange between the two sides. This came at the launch of the forum’s proceedings at the headquarters of the Arab League, under the theme “Artificial Intelligence as a Bridge for Arab-Chinese Communication,” with participation from youth from both sides.

In an opening address, Yusuf Mishaari, Director of the Department of Culture and Civilizational Dialogue at the Arab League and Minister Plenipotentiary, stated that “the forum represents an important platform for strengthening Arab-Chinese communication and cultural and civilizational exchange between the two sides.”

He added that the Global Civilization Initiative launched by Chinese President Xi Jinping has resulted in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Arab League and the Chinese side, as well as the establishment of the Arab-Chinese Center for the Global Civilization Initiative, which has begun implementing a number of programs and activities.

Mishaari called on participating youth to learn about the center and its activities and to take part in its programs, emphasizing that youth play a crucial role in enhancing Arab-Chinese cooperation in the coming period.
