Al-Attiyah denies apologizing for Hiroshima

Cairo – Kholoud Abu al-Majd: Actress Hoda El-Atary denied rumors circulating about her apologizing for withdrawing from the film “Hiroshima,” in which she was set to star alongside Ahmed El-Saka. She shared via the Stories feature on her private Instagram account a report published by a website, writing: “The news is false, and what is being circulated is a lie.”
Ahmed El-Saka is preparing to shoot the first scenes of “Hiroshima” after several postponements due to artistic circumstances. Recently, he met with director Ahmed Nader Galal to put the final touches on the project, with filming scheduled to begin in early September. The film will also star Mai Omar, and is written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and directed by Ahmed Nader Galal.
Filming of the movie had been delayed more than once in recent months, largely because most of the cast were tied up with shooting their own projects. El-Saka was busy filming “Khali Bek Min Nafsak,” while several other stars were outside Egypt on summer vacations. Consequently, the filmmakers preferred to wait until all the main cast members were available before commencing shooting according to the final schedule.
