Migrant accuses 12 unidentified individuals of kidnapping and robbing him of 840 dinars
Ahmad Khamis: The Ministry of Interior’s agencies, represented by the Jalib Criminal Investigation Department, have launched an investigation into allegations that an Egyptian migrant was kidnapped, beaten, and robbed of 840 dinars by 12 unidentified individuals in the Jalib Al-Shuyoukh area.
The migrant filed a report at the Jalib Police Station, stating that 12 unknown individuals abducted him to the Jalib Al-Shuyoukh area, where they beat him and stole the money before leaving him and fleeing the scene.
The case has been classified as a felony, and the Public Prosecution has ordered necessary investigations to identify the suspects and verify the circumstances of the incident.
A security source said that criminal investigators are working to verify the accuracy of the victim’s account, suggesting that the inquiries may reveal prior acquaintance between him and one of the suspects or uncover the motives behind the assault, especially since the report included his claim that he did not know any of the 12 individuals involved.
