Food Authority: 11 violations issued and 96 kg of adulterated meat destroyed during a round in Hawalli

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the Inspection Department of Hawalli Governorate, conducted an inspection tour of several food establishments to ensure compliance with approved health regulations and standards. The tour resulted in the issuance of 11 violation reports and the destruction of 96 kilograms of adulterated and untraceable meat, in addition to documenting violations related to health and hygiene requirements and the health certificates of workers. The Authority reaffirmed its continued efforts to strengthen supervisory activities and enhance inspection tours across various governorates, in order to safeguard consumer health and ensure the safety of food circulating in the markets.
