Promotion of 2,266 Employees at Kuwait Electricity Authority.. By Selection

Al-Anbaa learned from sources that the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Dr. Subaih Al-Makhzoum, has approved the selection-based promotion lists for ministry employees.

The Administrative Affairs Sector prepared a draft decision for the 2026 selection-based promotion grade for 2,266 employees out of 12,571 candidates. Work is currently underway to input the grades into the integrated systems, after which the financial entitlements of the promoted employees will be disbursed shortly.

The Administrative Affairs Sector had previously prepared the lists, selecting eligible employees who meet the required conditions and in accordance with the vacant grades available within the ministry.

Sources indicated a noticeable increase in the number of vacant grades this year, with an increase of 974 vacant grades compared to previous fiscal years. For instance, in 2024 and 2025, the total number of promoted employees was 1,292.
