187 wanted individuals and beggars, and 4 expatriates with expired visas apprehended
The Ministry of Interior announced that the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, carried out an extensive security campaign within the governorate. The operation resulted in the apprehension of 187 wanted individuals involved in criminal cases, absconders, and violators of the residency and labor laws, as well as 23 other individuals wanted for judicial detention. Additionally, four foreign nationals whose visas had expired, beggars, and three itinerant vendors were detained. The campaign also led to the referral of 10 motorcycles to the impound lot, the issuance of 445 traffic violations, the removal of 15 abandoned vehicles, and the closure of one restaurant. The Ministry of Interior confirmed in a statement that all necessary legal and administrative measures have been taken against all violators, paving the way for their referral to the competent authorities.
