U.S. President Donald Trump said there is a massive humanitarian crisis in Iran and that it must be brought to an end “immediately.” Trump posted a brief message on his social media platform, Truth Social, stating, “Failed Iran is not paying the salaries of large segments of its military, while at the same time killing protesters—even those not involved in the demonstrations—at unprecedented levels.” He added, “It is a massive humanitarian crisis, and it must be brought to an end immediately.”
