Prime Minister Discusses Close Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments with His French Counterpart

His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, received a phone call today from French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu.
During the call, His Highness conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah to French President Emmanuel Macron and to Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu.
The Prime Minister highlighted the official invitation extended by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to President Emmanuel Macron to pay an official visit to the State of Kuwait this year, coinciding with the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries.
The call also discussed the close bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in areas that serve the interests of both nations and their friendly peoples. The conversation covered cooperation and joint investment in the fields of defense, oil, health, and artificial intelligence. Additionally, the latest developments on the regional and international scenes were discussed, with an exchange of views on several issues of mutual concern.
His Highness the Prime Minister expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy for the victims of the wildfires in southwestern France, wishing the injured a speedy recovery and hoping that the authorities in the friendly country will be able to overcome the effects of this disaster.
