Start of Reception of New Students at School Health Centers for Medical Examinations

The Ministry of Health announced the commencement of registration for new students at school health centers to conduct necessary medical examinations and open health files, as part of its preparations for the new academic year. This service is available through several centers distributed across various health regions.

The Ministry clarified that student registration in the Capital Health Region takes place at the Hamad Al-Saqer Health Center in Adailiya, and in the Hawalli Health Region at the School Health Center in Bayan, Block 7, Street 1, Jada 9. The Mubarak Al-Kabeer Health Region has designated the School Health Center in Adan, Block 2, Street 60. In the Jahra Health Region, students are registered at the Jahra Health Center and the Mata’a Health Center N8, while the Farwaniya Health Region has designated the Al-Raqai Health Center. In the Ahmadi Health Region, students are registered at the Fahaheel Health Center and the Sabah Al-Ahmad Health Center – Sector D.

The Ministry specified working hours during the morning shift from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and during the evening shift from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It noted that the Mata’a N8 Center accepts students only during the evening shift on Sundays, while the Sabah Al-Ahmad Health Center accepts students only during the morning shift.

The Ministry outlined that the required documents to complete the procedures include a copy of the guardian’s civil ID, a copy of the student’s civil ID, the school admission notice, a copy of the birth certificate, a copy of the vaccination certificate, a recent passport-sized photo of the student, and a recent medical report for any existing medical conditions, if applicable.

It emphasized that the school admission notice is issued electronically by the Ministry of Education, and that the student must personally attend the examination accompanied by a guardian. Additionally, the Ministry has enabled an online appointment booking service for opening health files for new students via the School Health portal on the Ministry of Health’s website, aiming to organize the student registration process and facilitate procedures for parents.
