Chief of Staff: "Rayat Watan 2" Reflects the Importance of Joint Work and Coordination Between Military and Security Authorities

Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, attended the conclusion of the “Rayat Watan 2” exercise, held at the 35th Armored Brigade of the Martyr, with participation from the Ministry of Interior and the National Guard.

Upon his arrival, he was received by Commander of the Land Forces, Brigadier General Hamad Ahmed Al-Suwaidi, who provided a briefing on the exercise’s proceedings, stages, key scenarios, and executed missions. These objectives aim to enhance readiness levels, unify operational concepts and procedures, and strengthen coordination and cooperation mechanisms among participating entities.

For his part, the Chief of Staff emphasized that the “Rayat Watan 2” exercise reflects the importance of joint work and coordination between military and security agencies, contributing to enhanced readiness and improved efficiency in handling various tasks and emergency situations. He commended the efforts made by participants in preparation and execution, highlighting their outstanding display of competence, discipline, and cooperation, and stressed the importance of continuing to develop capabilities and exchange expertise to achieve the highest levels of integration and effectiveness in carrying out joint duties and missions.

Attending the exercise’s conclusion were Deputy Commander of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Burjess; Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Sheikh Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad; Head of the Private Security and Correctional Institutions Sector at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Duhaik Ahmed Al-Duhaik; Director General of the General Administration of Coast Guard, Brigadier General (Naval) Mubarak Ali Al-Yousef; and a number of senior commanding officers from the participating entities.
