Cairo – Ahmed Sabry: Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, emphasized the continuous monitoring of the implementation status of the presidential initiative “Hayat Karima” (A Decent Life) for the development of rural villages.

This came during the Prime Minister’s chairing of a meeting yesterday at the government headquarters in the new city of Alamein, attended by the ministers of Health and Population, Transport, Finance, Social Solidarity, Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Local Development and Environment, Communications and Information Technology, and Planning and Economic Development, as well as the head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority and officials from relevant ministries and agencies.

Dr. Madbouly stressed that this meeting aims to follow up on the executive steps for completing the remaining works of the first phase of the presidential initiative “Hayat Karima,” as well as the status of handing over completed projects in preparation for their operation and ensuring citizens benefit from them, alongside reviewing the coordination efforts in preparation for launching the second phase of the initiative.

He pointed to the great interest shown by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in continuously monitoring the developments of this national project and his commitment to accelerating its implementation, considering it a massive project that contributes to transforming the Egyptian countryside and creating a genuine leap in the quality of services provided to citizens, thereby enhancing the state’s objectives of achieving comprehensive development.

During the meeting, a report on the implementation status of the first phase of the presidential initiative “Hayat Karima” was presented. The initiative is being implemented in 1,477 villages. Currently, remaining projects are being completed in several governorates and handed over to operating authorities.
