Gulf Bank Launches “Back to School” Campaign

Gulf Bank announced the launch of its “Back to School and University” campaign for the new academic year, combining student activities, financial literacy initiatives, and support for children from low-income families, as students return to in-person learning after a prolonged period of remote education due to geopolitical developments.

The campaign includes a series of recreational and artistic events and activities, such as workshops for coloring and decorating school supplies, as well as competitions with valuable prizes via social media platforms, aimed at facilitating students’ integration and motivating them at the start of the academic year.

The campaign kicked off in collaboration with Fun Tiki Center at 360 Mall, where Gulf Bank organized an event for children featuring workshops on “decorating school supplies,” “coloring paintings,” “cutting and pasting,” and “science shows,” with the participation of the mascot of neo, the bank’s children’s account.

As part of its extended strategic partnership with the Kuwait Association for Business and Entrepreneurship (Injaz Kuwait), the bank plans to organize field visits to several schools to introduce students to the importance of saving and to enhance financial literacy and awareness. This also includes the diverse programs offered by the association and supported by the bank, which feature training and entrepreneurial initiatives that help prepare students for the labor market and strengthen their leadership skills.

The bank will also participate in several university fairs and exhibitions dedicated to welcoming new students, where it will showcase its banking services and products specifically designed for youth, such as the red account and the red plus card.

As part of its ongoing efforts to support the national “Be Aware” campaign, Gulf Bank’s team will deliver financial literacy lectures targeting students, encouraging them to save and raising awareness about the risks of financial fraud, thereby fostering a culture of financial awareness from an early age.

Additionally, the bank is collaborating with the Red Crescent Society and the “Bashta” initiative to distribute school bags and contribute to covering school expenses for children from low-income families, a move that reflects its commitment to supporting the most vulnerable segments of society.

Furthermore, the bank will produce a number of awareness videos aimed at psychologically preparing children for their return to school, ensuring a healthy and balanced start to the academic year.
