Shukran Murtaja confirmed during her interview with actor Ayman Zaidan on the “Athar” podcast that certain roles would have been a significant addition to her career had they come her way at the right time. She also recalled her decision to enroll in the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts and pursue acting professionally, noting that this choice was not easy given the nature of her family and the social environment in which she was raised. She revealed that her late mother had harbored a dream of acting since her youth but was unable to realize it due to the circumstances and responsibilities she had shouldered at an early age. She pointed out that her mother lost her father while still young and was forced to take on the responsibility of supporting her family, before traveling to Saudi Arabia at the age of fifteen to work as a nurse, which led her to abandon her dream of entering the world of acting.
