The Saudi version of "The Hospital"... ready for presentation

The production team of the series “The Hospital,” starring actors Turki Al-Yousef and Aisha Kai, has completed filming all its episodes, making the work ready for broadcast in the near future. It is the Saudi adaptation of the Turkish series “The Miracle Doctor,” which aired in 2019.

Turki Al-Yousef celebrated the completion of filming by sharing a photo on his official Instagram account via the “Story” feature. The image showed a large cake decorated with a poster of the series, accompanied by the caption: “Completion of filming ‘The Hospital’.”

The series belongs to the genre of short-form dramatic works, consisting of 10 episodes. Alongside Turki Al-Yousef and Aisha Kai, it features a star-studded cast including Nourmah Mohsen, Hashem Najdi, Naif Khalaf, Jibrean Al-Jibrean, Bandar Al-Khudair, Meshal Al-Mutairi, Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Marwa Ali, Dima Muslim, and Ghala Mohammed.

“The Hospital” revolves around a Saudi young man with autism who possesses “savant syndrome,” granting him photographic memory and exceptional surgical abilities. He struggles to realize his dream of becoming a surgeon at a major hospital, initially facing skepticism and rejection from his medical colleagues and the hospital administration regarding his ability to handle patients. However, over time, with the support of a doctor who recognizes and mentors his talent, he succeeds in proving his genius and saving complex medical cases, thereby changing the perceptions of the society around him.
