Our national junior team will face Saudi Arabia tomorrow in a decisive match to determine third and fourth place in the group, as part of the Asian Junior Championship. The tournament regulations stipulate that eight teams advance to the round of 16 and knockout stages, with four of those teams qualifying for the semi-finals and the World Cup.
The junior national team previously lost to Iran with a score of 21-18 (first set 13-9) in a match held at Princess Sumaya Hall in Jordan. As a result, our team remains on two points, while Iran’s tally rises to four points, placing them second. Qatar tops the overall standings with eight points.
