Municipality: 15 violations issued in Al-Jahra
The municipality continues its field inspection campaigns across the six governorates to assess businesses’ compliance with regulations, systems, and licensing requirements. A team from the Al-Jahra governorate branch conducted a tour of several commercial and industrial areas in the governorate.
Dr. Hussein Al-Mutairi, head of the Al-Jahra municipality branch team, said in a media statement on the sidelines of the tour that the inspection team examined businesses and their licenses, took all necessary regulatory measures against violators, and ensured compliance with the regulations governing shops and advertisements across all their activities.
Al-Mutairi added that the team identified several violations and took appropriate action after verifying permitted activities. During the tour, 86 commercial establishments were inspected, 15 violations of the shops and advertisements regulations were documented, and 28 commercial establishments were issued warnings.
He noted that the tour would be followed by several additional field campaigns across all governorates of the country, according to a schedule prepared by the Public Relations Management team in coordination with relevant departments, to implement these campaigns over the coming weeks.
He called on business owners to follow the municipality’s official accounts to benefit from awareness messages and guidance, and to contact the municipality to inquire about any regulatory requirements, thereby facilitating their procedures and ensuring compliance with systems and regulations.
