Kuwait condemns the targeting of a vehicle and a bus belonging to security forces in the Damascus countryside by a drone

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of a civilian vehicle in western rural Damascus by an Israeli occupation forces drone, which resulted in injuries to several civilians. In a statement, the Ministry reiterated its call on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities to halt the repeated Israeli occupation attacks on Syrian territory and to ensure respect for the rules of international law and the UN Charter. The Ministry also reaffirmed Kuwait’s firm and supportive position regarding the sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, and stability of the sister Arab Republic of Syria.

The Ministry further expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of the attack on a bus belonging to the Internal Security Forces in rural Damascus, in the sister Arab Republic of Syria, which resulted in injuries to several security personnel. In a statement, the Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism, while emphasizing Kuwait’s solidarity with the sister Arab Republic of Syria in all measures it takes to safeguard its security and stability. The Ministry also expressed its wishes for the swift recovery of all those injured in the attack.
