The Directorate of Security for Al-Farwaniya Governorate, under the Sector of Directorates of Security Affairs, conducted a security operation in the Al-Ruqa’i area, involving 168 officers and non-commissioned officers and 50 patrol units. The operation resulted in the apprehension of 36 violators and wanted individuals, as well as the seizure of one vehicle wanted for judicial detention.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the operation was part of security efforts aimed at enhancing security presence, apprehending violators and wanted persons, and enforcing discipline in the area. The results included the arrest of 13 individuals subject to arrest warrants for the expiration of their residency permits, 12 wanted in cases of absence, and 4 violators of residency regulations.
Additionally, three individuals wanted in connection with civil cases, three wanted in drug-related cases, and one individual for possessing and selling unlicensed medications were apprehended. A vehicle wanted for judicial detention was also seized.
The Ministry confirmed that all apprehended individuals have been subjected to standard legal and administrative procedures and referred to the competent authorities for further action. It reiterated its commitment to continuing field security operations across various regions of the country, with the aim of apprehending violators and wanted persons, enhancing security and stability, and raising the level of public discipline.
