Rap and Hip-Hop Ignite "Al-Rayah"

To the rhythms of rap and hip-hop, and the ceaseless chants of a young audience that never stopped singing, the third edition of the “SOLARA SHOW” took place last Friday evening at the “Al Raya” hall in the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. The night was a fully packed, crowd-filled event, produced and organized by SOLARA PRODUCTION, with artistic supervision by FOR YOU.

From the very first moment, the audience became an integral part of the show, singing along with the artists and raising their voices with every beat, sustaining their enthusiasm until the end of the evening. This reflected the growing popularity of rap and hip-hop in Kuwait, prompting the artists to praise the Kuwaiti audience and affirm that it has no rival.

The evening featured performances by Dafi, Ozi, Luigi, DJ 7, Vortex, Abdullah Tirl, Louzi, and Dawood, alongside special guests BDR and LA, with a diverse lineup of segments and artistic collaborations.

Dafi served as the link between the performers, in addition to presenting several of his own songs. Dawood made his first appearance on a stage inside Kuwait, performing a selection of his works. Joint segments brought together Abdullah Tirl and Vortex, Louzi and Luigi, and Ozi and Luigi with Tirl, while BDR and LA performed as special guests.

Luigi maintained his presence with a series of his songs, while DJ 7 led the musical side, contributing to smooth transitions and sustaining high energy throughout the show.

The lighting and the nature of the stage enhanced the atmosphere of the evening, but the audience’s presence remained the most prominent feature, confirming that this musical genre has found a wide space among Kuwaiti youth.
