Citizen claims: "The Evil Eye" set his new boat ablaze at the gas station!

Ahmad Khamis: Competent authorities have launched an investigation to determine the causes of a fire that broke out in a modern Asian vehicle, model year 2026, while it was inside a gas station on the Seventh Ring Road, after its driver was surprised by smoke emanating from the engine during a stop to refuel.

According to a security source, a citizen reported the incident to the Ministry of Interior’s operations center, noting that he was startled by smoke rising from the vehicle’s engine. He quickly exited the car and promptly began tackling the flames using a fire extinguisher, with the assistance of station workers. This swift action helped contain the fire and prevented it from spreading to the station and its fuel pumps.

The vehicle’s driver did not rule out the possibility that the “evil eye” had affected his car, especially since it was newly purchased. He noted that the vehicle had recently undergone maintenance, but he did not specify whether the “evil eye” was responsible for the fire or if a technical fault was behind the blaze.

A source from the General Fire Force confirmed that firefighters responded to the incident and took the necessary technical measures. The agency to which the vehicle belongs was also notified, in preparation for drafting a technical report to determine the causes of the fire.

The source emphasized the importance of adhering to safety and security regulations at gas stations, foremost among which is turning off the vehicle’s engine while refueling. Competent authorities have filed a case regarding the incident, and the circumstances and causes of the fire remain under investigation.
