The Kuwaiti-American Military Committee Discussed Joint Cooperation in Maintenance and Training

Chief of Staff of the Army Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan and U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East and Central Asia Michael D. Dermen presided over the annual meeting of the Kuwait-U.S. Joint Military Committee (JMC), held at the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon). The meeting included a series of workshops for participating teams from both sides, during which joint cooperation in maintenance and training was reviewed, and a memorandum of understanding for strategic partnership with the Maryland National Guard was signed. Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan was accompanied by a high-level delegation of senior commanding officers from the Kuwaiti Army.
