Handling of limited electrical fault at Jaber Hospital.. and resumption of normal operations

AbdulKarim Al-Abdullah: The Ministry of Health confirmed that a limited electrical short circuit occurred in one of the computers in an administrative office at Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital, away from healthcare service areas, leading to smoke odor seeping into some patient wards.

It stated that the incident was handled and brought under control immediately in accordance with approved safety and security procedures, with several patients temporarily relocated as a precautionary measure and returned after confirming the safety of the affected areas.

Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering and Projects Eng. Ibrahim Al-Naham, and Director of Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital Dr. Nada Al-Hasan were present at the site to monitor the procedures on the ground and ensure patient safety and operational continuity. Conditions returned to normal within a short period, and health services continue to operate normally and safely.
