Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Children’s Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaili affirmed that the selection of candidates for cooperative supervisory positions is based on an integrated process grounded in competence, merit, transparency, and equal opportunity.

Al-Huwaili noted that the advertised positions include 30 financial inspector roles and 60 administrative inspector roles, emphasizing the ministry’s commitment to selecting qualified national personnel capable of fulfilling supervisory responsibilities, safeguarding cooperative funds, and enhancing financial and administrative performance efficiency.

She explained that the examinations were held in two sessions—morning and evening—under comprehensive administrative and technical organization. The exams are monitored via cameras and documented visually, with established supervisory procedures implemented to ensure discipline and provide equal opportunities for all applicants.

Al-Huwaili clarified that passing the written test requires achieving a minimum score of 80% to proceed to the personal interview stage before the relevant committee at the ministry. The interview accounts for 10% of the final evaluation, enabling a comprehensive assessment of candidates’ academic and professional competencies. She added that this step aligns with the ministry’s plan to develop the cooperative sector, complete the policy of Kuwaitization, and build a more efficient and effective supervisory apparatus, consistent with the state’s direction toward improving government performance and enhancing governance and integrity.
