UK Foreign Office cancels previous travel advisory against traveling to Kuwait

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has updated its travel advice for British nationals wishing to travel to Kuwait, reversing its previous warning that advised against travel to the country amid regional security tensions.
Meanwhile, the UK Foreign Office has maintained its general security warnings regarding the situation in the Middle East, noting that conditions remain “unpredictable” given ongoing risks of new attacks or sudden escalation.
The ministry has urged British citizens in the region to exercise caution and prepare for potential disruptions to travel, including the cancellation or suspension of flights, as well as the possibility of temporary or periodic closures of airspace.
The update to the UK’s travel guidance comes in light of recent security developments in the region, with the lifting of the specific warning against travel to Kuwait reflecting an updated British assessment of the risks associated with visiting the country.
