Health Ministry: Limited response to electrical fire at Jaber Hospital.. Work resumes normally

AbdulKarim Al-Abdullah: The Ministry of Health confirmed that a limited electrical short circuit occurred yesterday evening in one of the computers in an administrative office at Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital, away from healthcare delivery areas, leading to the spread of smoke odor to some patient wards.

It stated that the incident was handled and brought under control immediately in accordance with approved safety and security procedures, with several patients temporarily relocated as a precautionary measure, and returned after confirming the safety of the affected areas.

The Deputy Minister of Health, Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, the Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs and Projects, Eng. Ibrahim Al-Naham, and the Director of Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital, Dr. Nada Al-Hasan, were present at the site to monitor the procedures on the ground and ensure patient safety and the smooth flow of operations. Conditions returned to normal within a short period, and health services continue to operate normally and safely.
