"Holiday Weather": Hot and Relatively Humid with Dust Opportunities

The Meteorology Department has forecast that the country’s weather over the weekend will be very hot during the day and hot to warm at night, with relatively high humidity in coastal areas. The Acting Director of the Department, Essam Al-Ali, told KUNA that the country is affected by an extension of the Indian monsoon low, accompanied by a hot and relatively humid air mass. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest, occasionally strengthening and stirring up dust, and will be variable in direction and light at times.

Al-Ali clarified that Friday’s daytime weather will be hot, with light to moderate northwest to variable-direction winds ranging from 10 to 38 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 44 and 46 degrees Celsius. He noted that Friday night will be hot to warm, with relatively high humidity in coastal areas. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest, ranging from 15 to 35 kilometers per hour, with minimum temperatures expected to range between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius.

Regarding Saturday’s daytime weather, Al-Ali said it will be very hot, with relatively high humidity in coastal areas. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest to variable directions, ranging from 8 to 35 kilometers per hour, with some high clouds appearing. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 45 and 47 degrees Celsius.

He added that Saturday night will be hot to warm, with relatively high humidity in coastal areas. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest to variable directions, ranging from 8 to 32 kilometers per hour, with some scattered clouds appearing. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius.
