The Public Relations Department announced that the Inspection and Municipal Services Administration in Hawalli Governorate has been monitoring the “Your Business License… Your Steps Are Correct” campaign, taking regulatory action against violators, and ensuring compliance with the regulations governing shops and advertisements across all their activities.
It confirmed that the fourth field round in Hawalli Governorate, covering several commercial areas, resulted in issuing 26 violations of the shops and advertisements regulations. These violations included unauthorized modifications to shop layouts as depicted in engineering drawings, adding extra space before obtaining a construction permit from the municipality, using unlicensed space, and erecting advertisements without permits.
It noted that the round would be followed by several additional field rounds across all governorates, according to a schedule that includes the dates of the field campaigns, which were prepared by the Public Relations Department team in coordination with the relevant administrations to implement these campaigns over the coming weeks.
