Our Ambassador in Dushanbe Discussed Cooperation with Tajikistan's Minister of Culture

Kuwait’s ambassador to Dushanbe, Mohammed Al-Amiri, held talks with Tajikistan’s Minister of Culture, Multofa Khan Starian, to explore ways to enhance and develop cultural cooperation between the two countries across various fields.

Ambassador Al-Amiri said in a statement to KUNA following the meeting that the discussions covered the trajectory of cultural relations between the two countries and several topics of mutual interest at both bilateral and multilateral levels, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation in cultural and artistic domains.

He added that the meeting addressed the exchange of delegations and the organization of joint cultural and artistic events and programs, aimed at promoting awareness of the history, heritage, and culture of both countries and strengthening communication and rapprochement between their peoples.

He clarified that both sides reviewed the experience of the “Tajik Cultural Days” held in Kuwait from November 11 to 14, 2024, and its contribution to showcasing Tajikistan’s heritage, arts, and national culture, as well as supporting cultural exchange between the two countries.

He noted that the discussions also covered cooperation in the field of crafts and traditional industries, in light of the participation of Tajik artisans in the Second Global Crafts Forum hosted by Kuwait in 2026.
