92% Infrastructure Completion Rate in Al-Yarmouk

The Ministry of Public Works announced that the actual completion rate for infrastructure works in the Yarmouk area has reached 92%, compared to the approved schedule’s 72% to date. It noted that the implementation of the contract works began on April 3, 2024, for a duration of three years.
In accordance with the instructions and directives of the Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Mr. Anwar Mohammed Al-Balushi, Director General of the General Administration of Sanitary Engineering Affairs, conducted a field visit to the project. The completion rates of the works are as follows:
- The sewage network has been completed at 100%.
- The stormwater drainage network has been completed at 100%.
- The telephone network has been completed at 97%.
- The street lighting network has been completed at 98%.
- All kerb and paving works have been completed at 100%.
- Asphalt works for the base course (Layers I and II) for all plots (1, 2, 3, and 4) have been completed at 100%.
- Asphalt works for the base course (Layers I and II) on main streets have been completed at 85%.
- Asphalt works for the wearing course (Layer III) in plots 1 and 2 have been completed at 60%.
