Kuwait officials: The board of directors of Kazma Club has signed American Devin Ebanx (born 1989) to strengthen the first basketball team ahead of the “Final Four” matches of last season’s basketball league, scheduled for October next year. Ebanx, who stands 2.06 meters tall, previously played for several American clubs, including the Los Angeles Lakers, and also competed in the Puerto Rican basketball league. Meanwhile, Al-Qurain Club and “Al-Fatwa” will participate in the 27th Arab Women’s Basketball Championship, hosted by Sporting Club in Alexandria, Egypt, from September 3 to 12 next year. The tournament features seven clubs: Al-Qurain and Al-Fatwa (Kuwait), Al-Jazira, Sporting, and Al-Ahly (Egypt), Al-Sharjah (UAE), and Al-Qadsiah (Saudi Arabia). The championship will be held in a single-round league format, with the top two teams from the preliminary stage advancing to the final for the title, while the third and fourth-placed teams will compete for third and fourth places.
