"Blue Hand" crosses Syria in the "Asian Junior Championship"

Kuwait officials: Our national junior handball team defeated the Syrian national team 29-19 in yesterday evening’s match at the Princess Sumaya Hall in Jordan, as part of the first round of Group 2 in the 11th Asian Junior Handball Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 World Cup finals. With this result, the Blue team secured its first two points in the tournament, while Syria remained winless. Abdulhadi Barak of the Blue team was named Man of the Match. Our national team will face Qatar in today’s match at 2:00 PM at the same venue. The technical staff, led by Icelandic coach Stefan Arnstson and national coach Khaled Al-Mulla, are aiming to advance from the group stage to the semi-finals and secure one of the spots in the World Cup finals. Team manager Shakir Artie emphasized that the Blue team is capable of overcoming obstacles, noting that opening matches are always challenging.
