Amira Adeeb prepares for "Taher El-Masry's Journey"

Amira Adeeb is preparing to participate in the series “Taher El-Masry’s Journey,” alongside actor Khaled El-Nabawy, which is scheduled to air in the near future. The drama is set in the world of women’s football, exploring a number of psychological and social challenges faced by players and professionals in the field, while delving into their dreams, ambitions, and the obstacles standing in the way of achieving them.

In the series, Amira portrays the captain of a women’s football team, coached by Khaled El-Nabawy. Her character embarks on a journey filled with challenges both on and off the pitch, as her sporting and personal life intersects with various events and conflicts depicted throughout the episodes.

On another note, Amira addressed the recent criticism she has faced, coinciding with her entry into the music industry and the release of her rap songs. She affirmed that she is not bothered by the criticism, but expressed surprise at the anger of some people toward someone who chooses to pursue something they love and feel passionate about.

During her appearance on the “ON The Road” program on Rotana channels, she clarified that criticism itself does not pose a problem for her. She stated, “Criticism isn’t what upsets me; what upsets me is that people are so repressed that they get provoked by anyone doing something they love. It’s not a problem if I’m insulted—come on, I’ve been insulted before.”
