Washington imposes new sanctions on companies, individuals, and ships linked to Iran

The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced the imposition of new sanctions related to Iran. In a statement, the department said it had sanctioned 21 individuals, 16 companies, and 10 vessels linked to Iran.
