Ministry of Food: 100 kg of meat of unknown origin confiscated at Shabra Al-Jaleeb Market

As part of its ongoing supervisory efforts, inspectors from the Inspection Administration of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition conducted a round at Shabrah Al-Jaleeb Market, resulting in the issuance of four violation reports for the trade of adulterated food and one report for the disposal of goods, as well as four destruction reports during which 100 kilograms of meat of unknown origin were destroyed. The Authority reaffirms its commitment to intensifying inspection rounds across all governorates and strengthening its supervisory role over food establishments and activities, thereby contributing to the protection of consumer health and ensuring the safety of food circulating in markets, in order to safeguard public health and the well-being of society.
