Lebanon condemns Israeli occupation airstrikes on Abu al-Duhur airport: a blatant violation of Syrian sovereignty and its territorial integrity and unity

Lebanon strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ aerial raids that targeted the Abu al-Duhur military airport in Idlib province, northwestern Syria.
In a statement, Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the Israeli occupation’s attack on Syria constitutes “a blatant violation of its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and unity, as well as a clear breach of international law and the UN Charter.”
The ministry reaffirmed Lebanon’s steadfast position supporting Syria’s sovereignty, security, and stability, emphasizing its rejection of any aggression targeting Syrian territory.
Lebanon stressed the urgent need to halt the ongoing violations by the Israeli occupation against countries in the region and to refrain from any steps that could escalate tensions and threaten regional stability.
