CENTCOM stated in a post on the platform X: As of August 19, U.S. forces had rerouted 65 commercial vessels, disrupted three ships, and inspected two vessels to ensure compliance.
The post included an image of a U.S. sailor standing guard inside the combat information center aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53), as the ship sailed in territorial waters to enforce the U.S. blockade on Iran’s coastlines.
