Gold for "Al-Table" in the West Asia Championship

The Kuwaiti national table tennis team in the under-11 category won the gold medal in the girls’ doubles event at the West Asian Championship currently being held in Jordan. Players Sheikha Al-Ali and Hayat Salah secured the gold medal after defeating the Saudi Arabia national team 3-0 in the doubles final. Kuwait is participating in the tournament across various age categories for both boys and girls, including the open category, under-19, under-17, under-15, under-13, and under-11. The championship, which concludes today on Thursday, sees wide participation from the national teams of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Oman, Iraq, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
