Meshal Al-Saied completes writing a new play

Writer and playwright Meshal Othman Al-Saeed affirmed that the Kuwaiti theatrical scene needs distinguished works that reflect reality and remain firmly etched in the audience’s memory. He pointed out that the theatrical movement in Kuwait has, throughout its history, produced experiences that marked significant milestones, including “Bye Bye London” and the play “Dr. Sanhat,” which achieved considerable success and contributed to changing the course of Kuwaiti theater. He praised the theatrical experiments undertaken by young people in recent years, emphasizing that artistic talents deserve support and attention.
Al-Saeed added in a statement to Al-Anbaa that the current stage requires a theatrical work capable of reviving the brilliance of previous successful experiences that remain vivid in the audience’s memory, and reaffirming the distinction and excellence of the Kuwaiti theatrical movement. He revealed that he has completed writing a new play, the details of which will be announced soon.
