"Shams Al-Zanati 2" Continues Filming in Al-Fayoum

The makers of the film “Shams El-Zenaty 2” continue to shoot scenes intensively, as the production team nears completion of their final sequences in Fayoum, within a set constructed and equipped to suit the nature of the events. “Shams El-Zenaty 2” offers a new take on the world of the original film, which was directed by the legendary Adel Imam in 1991. The new installment is not a direct continuation of the first film’s storyline; rather, its events unfold approximately 15 years before those of the original movie.
