In Video: General Directorate of Narcotics Control Arrests 22 Suspects in 13 Different Cases for Possessing Quantities of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances with Intent to Traffic and Consume

The General Directorate for the Suppression of Narcotics arrested 22 suspects in 13 separate cases, following intensive surveillance and investigations that uncovered their activities and led to their apprehension, with quantities of narcotics and psychoactive substances found in their possession intended for trafficking and personal use. This operation is part of the continuous security efforts to combat the scourge of drug abuse and pursue its distributors.

The operations resulted in the seizure of the following items:

* 466 grams of Shaboo (a local drug mixture).

* 350 grams of heroin.

* 148 A4-sized sheets soaked with a chemical substance.

* 100 tablets of psychoactive substances.

* 70 grams of marijuana.

* 30 marijuana seeds.

* 20 grams of hashish.

* 15 tablets of psychoactive substances.

* 11 sensitive scales.

* A number of drug paraphernalia.

All suspects and seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal actions against them.
