Violations seized during a raid on several shops and commercial establishments in Al-Jaleeb and referred to the Public Prosecution

The Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Administration at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, represented by the inspection offices of the Capital Governorate and Al-Farwaniya, conducted an inspection tour of several shops and commercial establishments in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, as part of supervisory rounds aimed at ensuring compliance with commercial laws and regulations and protecting consumers’ rights.

The inspection revealed several violations, including the failure to display prices clearly, the failure to issue invoices to consumers, and the omission of the country of origin for displayed goods and products.

Consequently, inspection teams drafted official violation reports against the offenders, paving the way for the necessary legal measures and referring them to the Commercial Prosecution to take appropriate action in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.

Commercial inspection teams continue their field rounds across markets and shops to ensure compliance with the requirements and controls governing commercial activity, and to counter any practices that could harm consumers’ rights.
