Kuwait officials confirmed that the Governor of Ahmadi, Chairman of the Green Urban Development Initiatives Committee, Sheikh Hamad Al-Jaber, is committed to following up on and completing the procedures for the initiatives submitted by pioneers, and to overcoming any difficulties they may face from the initial submission of their proposals until their completion, in coordination and cooperation with the relevant government entities.
Sheikh Hamad Al-Jaber told KUNA after chairing a committee meeting that the items on the agenda were discussed. These included 12 initiatives submitted to the committee by various state and private oil sector companies, private firms, cooperative societies, and individuals.
He added that these initiatives focus on ornamental landscaping, beautifying and developing certain public parks in several residential areas, planting and developing the main entrance to one of the cities, repainting several major vehicular bridges and pedestrian bridges on highways, as well as another initiative focused on environmental protection.
