U.S. President Donald Trump announced the suspension of new 50% tariffs on Canadian products. Trump wrote on his platform, Truth Social: “I have halted the 50% tariffs on Canada, which were scheduled to take effect tomorrow morning for three days, based on the fact that Canada and the United States have reached an agreement, pending the completion of documentation! The Keystone XL pipeline project, which Joe Biden killed long ago, may be revived.”
