UAE: Halt all commercial activities, trade, and financial transactions with Iran

Afra Al Hameli, Director of Strategic Communications at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, affirmed that the United Arab Emirates denies all allegations regarding the state of its economic relations with Iran, and reiterates its firm commitment to dialogue, cooperation, and regional integration as essential means to enhance peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
She clarified that, in light of regional escalation that has undermined regional and international peace and security, all commercial activities, trade exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran have been suspended until further notice.
She emphasized that the UAE remains firmly committed to safeguarding the integrity of the international financial system, in line with international law and the highest global standards.
