Al-Yad Discussed Development of Age Stages

The Handball Federation held a coordination meeting with representatives and managers of the sport at several clubs participating in local competitions on the evening of the day before yesterday, at the Federation’s headquarters in the Sheikh Fahad Al-Ahmad Center in Daeiya. The meeting was chaired by board member Meshal Al-Qabandi, with representatives from Al-Arabi, Al-Shabab, Fahaheel, Kazma, Yarmouk, Al-Nasr, Al-Tadamun, Al-Jahra, Salhiya, and Al-Qurain in attendance.

The meeting focused primarily on the youth categories, given their significant role in building a strong and sustainable foundation for Kuwaiti handball, alongside discussing the key positives and negatives of the previous season and proposing several developmental ideas and initiatives aimed at enhancing the technical and organizational standards of the youth categories.

The importance of strengthening communication and coordination between the Federation and the clubs was also emphasized, along with unifying efforts to contribute to the development of youth category operations, discover and refine talents, and prepare a generation capable of representing the clubs and national teams in the future.
