Kuwait's Youth Team to Face Iraq in Thailand Today

Our national under-20 football team will face their Iraqi counterparts in a friendly match today as part of the Blue Camp currently being held in Thailand in preparation for the Asian Cup qualifiers. The Blue Camp squad arrived in the capital, Bangkok, on the 14th to hold its final training camp as part of its preparatory program for the Asian competition. The gathering also includes another match against the United Arab Emirates national team on the 24th. Since arriving in Bangkok, the technical staff led by Croatian coach Virdo Milin has conducted a series of training sessions. Before departing for Thailand, the Blue Camp team played two friendly matches in Kuwait against the Jordanian national team, losing both with the same scoreline of 1-0. Our national team competes in the qualifiers in Group 7, which will be hosted in Cambodia from the 31st of this month until September 6. The group includes the national teams of Cambodia, Japan, and Yemen. The Blue Camp delegation is scheduled to leave Thailand for Cambodia directly at the conclusion of the camp on the 28th.
