“Can You Act?” Workshop Kicks Off on September 3, Organized by Trend Production

Trend Production is organizing the “Do You Want to Act?” workshop, which offers a comprehensive theatrical experience and gives participants the opportunity to explore various areas of theatrical work and develop their skills through training and practical application, with the participation of a select group of prominent names and artistic experts in the theater field. The workshop will take place from September 3 to 23, featuring four theatrical tracks presented by specialists, adding an artistic dimension and practical expertise that participants can benefit from. Hani Al-Hazzaa will lead the Acting track, which focuses on developing actors’ tools, working with characters, performance, and stage presence, through practical exercises and applications that help participants discover their abilities and enhance their acting skills. The Directing track, presented by Mohammed Al-Shatti, covers the fundamentals of theatrical directing, building a directorial vision, and working with the various elements of a production, ultimately deepening participants’ understanding of the director’s role in shaping a theatrical show. Badr Al-Shaibi will present the Graduation Project track, which represents the practical side of the workshop experience, where participants apply the skills they have acquired to develop a complete theatrical project. Dr. Ahlam Hassan will lead the Theatrical Movement track, which focuses on movement, physical expression, and stage presence, recognizing movement as a key element in character development and conveying emotions and ideas to the audience. Through “Do You Want to Act?”, Trend Production aims to provide a training experience that combines knowledge, practical application, and direct artistic expertise, opening doors for theater talents and enthusiasts to develop their tools and discover their potential across various areas of theatrical work. The workshop forms a space that brings together training, practice, and interaction with artistic experts, offering participants a more comprehensive understanding of theater, from acting, directing, and movement, to executing a complete graduation project.
