Foreign Minister Discusses with GCC Secretary-General Efforts Supporting the Progress of Joint Gulf Cooperation

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber received the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Al-Budaiwi. The Foreign Ministry stated in a press release that the meeting discussed frameworks to enhance efforts supporting the progress of joint Gulf cooperation toward greater solidarity and integration, and reviewed the latest developments in regional and international affairs.

In a separate development, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sister State of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the call reviewed the latest regional developments and discussed diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and enhancing security and stability in the region.
