High directives to continue supporting the Gulf Cooperation Council's progress and enhance integration among its member states

His Highness Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad received the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Al-Bedaiwi. The GCC Secretariat General stated that during the reception, the Secretary-General listened to the high-level directives of His Highness Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, which emphasized the importance of continuing to support the GCC’s progress and enhancing integration efforts among its member states, in line with the aspirations of their peoples for greater security, stability, prosperity, and development. The Secretary-General expressed his gratitude and appreciation for His Highness’s directives supporting and strengthening the trajectory of joint Gulf cooperation and the work of the GCC Secretariat General.

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, also received the Secretary-General of the GCC, Jasem Al-Bedaiwi. The GCC Secretariat General noted that during the meeting, several files related to joint Gulf cooperation were discussed, and efforts aimed at advancing the GCC’s progress and achieving greater integration and coordination among member states were reviewed, in implementation of the directives of the Council’s heads of state. The Secretary-General also commended the kind support and continuous attention that the GCC’s progress enjoys from the State of Kuwait, affirming that this support serves as a strong impetus for further enhancing joint Gulf cooperation, thereby bringing benefits and prosperity to the peoples of the GCC member states.
